New Patient Information

What can you expect at your first visit? We will greet you with a smile and ask you to fill out patient information forms. When it is time to meet with Dr. Stumbaugh, you will be taken to a a private room where you can share information in confidence. Your time with the doctor will include a consultation, an exam, possibly an x-ray, and a follow-up discussion. We will do our best to make your first visit both comfortable and informative as we determine your chiropractic needs.

Consultation
Dr. Stumbaugh will visit with you about the nature of your pain and discuss your medical or physical history as it relates to your condition.

Exam
During your examination, the doctor will be assessing as many aspects of your condition as possible. He will do a thorough inspection of any injuries, and you may be asked to perform movements to determine strength, flexibility, and range of motion. In many cases, an x-ray is required to get an accurate picture of your condition or injury.

X-ray
X-rays are performed right in the comfort of our office. In most cases, the x-ray will be taken immediately after your exam as part of your initial appointment.

Follow-up
You will be asked to return in a few days to review your results with Dr. Stumbaugh. He will share his findings and diagnosis of your condition, and will suggest a treatment plan based on your individual needs and condition.

Treatment
We are committed to providing top-quailty treatment, always considering your personal needs. Most patients begin their treatment right away, and many feel the positive effects almost immediately. If you have questions or concerns at any time during treatment, we are happy to answer your questions or explain a procedure.
